If i am going to buy something. Especially if work is going to partially

reimburse I want to get the right thing no matter the cost.

I am a project manager for a theatrical production company and have an entry level canon digital

rebel. I have the stock lens that came with the camera and a cheap telephoto lens. I am looking

to upgrade a better piece of glass. I take a lot of pictures in dark areas of lighting itself. with the

lens I have now no matter what I change the settings to things tend to come out blurry. The

problem with what I shoot is that there are also people in the shots. I would love a lens that is as

wide as the stock lens but has more zoom then the stock lens. Any recommendations would be

great.
