  1. As an everyday user of PS plugins, that helped me create my style, i recommend the Kodak Digital pack,

exceptionnal for enhancing the coulours/tones and softening the skin/tissues, Cybia Colour Pack is also useful for

two or three of its possibilities (especially the grey scale, the tint correction, but the contrast leveling is a bit harsh),

but according to me, the Nik Color Efex Pro Pack (Stylizing & Traditionnal) is the most amazing. It covers all fx from

the most classic ones (B&W, contrast, softness), to the most extravagant, which sometimes can be useful.

But as David says, sometimes personnal skills are far more efficient...

  2. Thanks again for all your answers. I been wandering through the net for some Hasselblad documentation, it seems the perfect body for what i wanna do. About the lenses, i think two different ones would be perfect, either 80 and 150, if i can find them obviously...But what range of prices are considered reasonnable for it?

At another level, and without any comparisons of quality, i've catched some topics on other forums about the Rollei 35 SE. What do you think about it?

    Thanks again!

  3. Hello everybody,

I'm searching for a good classic, 70's or pre 70's camera, for portraits. I'm working in high contrasts, often close-ups,

inside/outside shooting. So i'm taking advices to buy something good, but i may say that i don't know anything

    about that kind of material.

Moreover, the kind of films to use is also important.

If i'm not accurate enough in my asking, please tell me!

    Thank you!

  4. Wow, thanks for all your very precise answers , now i see far more clearly what i need. In concert rooms, i'm always in manual, 1/25;1/30, f1.8-2.8 depending on the light, and when allowed, i use the flash, at a very low level.

Anyway, thanks again for your attention and good advices, kind of you all. I needed it.

    See ya!

  5. Well, actually, i often go to live shows with very dimly lit stages, with orange and blue lights. It's usually small concert rooms, and i'm near the stage (from the closest, near the speakers, to 1-2 meters). It's both for close-ups and entire sets, but privilegiating the first. It's generally Metal gigs with very mobile musicians. The main point, is that i want good shots with a very little grain, and good contrast. Thanks
  6. Hi everybody,

In search of a good lens to shoot concerts, i'm about to buy a Tamron 28-75, 2.8. What do you think about it? I

    already have a Canon 50mm f1.8, a standard 18-55, and a Sigma 70-300 f4;5.6.

But what's the best lens in this situation, except for the Canon 70-200 f2.8, too expensive for me at this point?

    Thanks in advance!
