I don't think the DOF is really an issue here. By the way I'd rather be concerned about the colors - they should be a bit closer to natural, at least to my taste. Even if it was part of your concept. Otherwise it is a pretty good macro.

Even if part of your concept, the overall contrast is a bit too harsh. Or could that just be my monitor? At least it is difficult to see what the man is doing. All that said this is a fine one. Best regards, LM.
  1. That's some very attractive post processing, at lest to my taste. The composition seems a bit chaotic to me, partly as a side effect of wide angle vs. street photography. However the guy sitting in the foreground provides a fine anchor point to rest ones eyes. Anyway, a nice one. Best regards, LM.

I guess your concept was to create a bit depressing mood which you so-so managed. I like this shot this way, too, but I'd add some exaggerated local contrast, or at least lighten the highlights to bring it to life. BTW the composition is alright and the distortion works well too.

the pitch black (at least on my monitor) shadows exactly on his eyes make this portrait a bit 'incomplete' for me. I suggest that you try and bring out some details maybe. Otherwise I like it. Best regards, LM

Interesting shapes and very vivid colors make this one a very attractive shot. To my taste it's a bit too dark, I'd prefer a slightly lighter exposure and a bit less contrast. But that's just a matter of taste, it's really nice this way as well. Best regards, LM.

Nice one! The colors and sharpness of the flower is very attractive. Regarding the background, I tend to agree that it should be a bit more blurred. Best regards, LM.

And these guys also tend to attack your head in case you enter / get close to their nesting territory. It was quite a surprising experience. :)

Btw the shot is nice, you managed to capture quite good details. Best regards, LM.
