As far as I am informed (by Rollei Germany and some distributors), the EL series of lenses is incompatible with the following bodies: SLX, 6002, 6006. The ELs are based on the same calculations as the corresponding "pro level" versions by Zeiss. The main difference is the cheaper lensbody, the missing aperturedisplay and the metric thread instead of the VI-Bajonet at the front.

I think the EL-series should be seen as a cheaper (not only cheap)alternative to the PQ-Series of lenses for 6001, 6003 and 6008-bodies.

Great lens for macro and general use. In general use focussing is a

little bit tricky between 3 to 10 m.

Here in Germany it is not very easy to get second-hand magazines for

the Pentax 645. A few months ago I was lucky to get a used 220 mag.

Mostly I use 120 films and so I tried to use them in the 220 back: It

worked, the pictures taken are of exellent sharpness. The only problem

that occurs is that you have to watch the counter. It is possible to

take more than 16 "pictures"...;-)
