Not done much with the camera all winter but the lure of spring has
gotten me out doors again.

Very nice but what do you think of a little different composition with the base starting lower to the left cbottom corner and heading to the right top corner?

I was out by the pond trying to get a close up shot of a bull frog with just
its head out of the water. When I looked to my left this fellow was
standing there, at least for a shot time.

Half way around the world for me but the most scenic area I have been.

I saw so many churches while there I don't remember which one this is.

It is a pleasant scene and a good capture of the blue herron. The composition of your crop looks very centered. Bird is bulls eye in the middle. I would at least crop off some of the lower water. Instead of the rule of thirds you are currently at one half.

I went back out to the garden this morning and the dill plant the
caterpillars were eating was about gone. So were all this fellows
buddies. He is the last one hanging on to bare stems.

Perfectly presented. Marvelous light and sharpness.

A closer cropping of the culprit that ate my dill plants down to the stem.

Excellently done. Really like the contrasting colored background. I recently had a herd of these eat all my dill plants in the garden. I posted a shot of one of mine on here and another site. On the other site a contributor said he thought it was a Black Swallowtail catipilar. I am waiting to see if any show up in a few weeks.
