<p>Im wanting to post a few more pics into my galleries, bit most are over the 3mb limit and the incorrect size, could you be as kind to tell me which is the best way to rezise the images to the correct mb size and actual size ie 1500x 1500 i think the limit is, or is even a piece of software that maybe semi fool proof ;=)<br>
many thanks<br>

<p>Hi,<br>
I have been shooting landscape/ street Photography this past year with my Nikon D80, im now wanting to put together a small studio, or a portable studio, that would allow me to shoot portfolio shots for up and coming models as well as family/baby portraits. With this in mind, if u were just starting out, what would you like to get, im thinking of moving to an FX camera in the nesx 12 months all going well. I dont have a budget in mind as i need to get what i need to get, however, it does have to slip past the wife !!.<br>
If anyone in New Zealand could advise that would be helpful as not all products i read about are available in NZ, we run on 220V and it costs an arm and sometimes two legs to get gear shipped, many thanks in advance </p>

<p>Hi again, i have just received LR2, and im going to spend a wee bit of this weekend getting organised, i notice that from the trial version i had that i have many folders in the library (date as name) but i would now like to get them into correct folders, i just moved some into the named folder i wanted, but it would seem that the pic will become saved at its current state of processing, i didnt mind this, but wouldnt want this all the time, i read earlier that it could be better to have just to folders ie Finished and unfinished, i guess that would work better, as once they are moved to finished, they are in essance finished. Could you give me any pointers on how to get myself sorted (simple as poss pls) as i'd like to start in an organised fashion.<br>
many thanks<br>

<p>Hi guys,<br>
I have a number of prints, standard size (small) that a friend gave me, he no longer has the files and i would just love to get some larger sizes taken off. I was wondering if they are not of good enough quality to be enlarged as they are, is it possible to scan them at a higher quality dpi etc and then get copies enlarged.<br>
Hope this is not to much of a dumb question, i still stuggle with what files can be enlarged etc</p>

<p>Tony, with this function can the metadata be moved anywhere within the picture?</p>

<p>Excellent as always Howard, cant wait to start "where is my lightroom" in transit i hope</p>

<p>Hi Everyone,<br>
Im waiting for my Lghtroom 2 to arrive after loving the trail version, i dont remember seeing a feature or function of a copyright / watermark? Is it possible within this software or would the image need to be exported to Photoshop or the like, i do have a copy of Photoshop 7 (i havent used it yet), if there is a link someone knows of that has this as a function or plugin that would be mighty<br>
Thanks in advance</p>
<p>regards<br>

I noticed when i opened NEF files in CS3 the colours were not correct, so i opened in NX Capure, saved as TIFF then
opened in CS3 to maintain the same colours that i had found in NX, or should i say from the camera. I was
wondering if i would have the same problem in Lightroom 2 Re colour?? i ask this as i have not bought either of the
software packages as yet and im wondering which one to invest my money in.

many thanks good sir, please put me in the draw, just FYI i saw a article on the news down here in old New Zealand last week and it was a chap spending a portion of the day, walking the streets doing "randam acts of kindness" to strangers ie buying them a cup of coffee, carrying old ladies shopping home etc, and i thought it was a fantastic idea, So did the surprised people i must say. Hopefully others will be motivate by your idea.
many thanks

Great that works a treat, i feel an external drive coming on tho...big files, there doesnt seem to be a option of converting to JPEG from CS3 tiff any suggestions?
-
Thanks Guys ...i'll give it a nudge. mark

Hi Guys, im finding when i open up NEF files from my D80 into CS3, the images are not as sharp in colour as they
should be, Nx Capture gives me the desired result, is there anyway to keep the image as it should be when using
CS3. Im a newby to this and i would like to learn CS3 and NX but im not able to correct the colours diff in CS3. if i
alter anything in CS3 and then save it i guess it will change in colour too.
Regards

Hi Guys So being a newbi myself, this can be corrected (over exposing) by using the E.V. to compensate ? supposeing once it stops flashing, on the same shot, it is right?
-
Great advice guys..thanks, Ronald i would like to set up what you have done as it sounds like "how i would like to operate" just hope i can learn the skills as im totally new to this software game, although if i can use maybe just CS3 as you seem to do that would help perhaps, i was led to believe that converting NEF in CS3 wasnt as good Capture NX conversion, something to do with colours?
thanks again...great help
