This photo was taken on a ferry in NY, on my way to the Statue of
Liberty. If you look at the picture, you can almost feel the peace of
mind and serenity of this old Jew immersed in his reading. In fact,
there were dozens of (very noisy) people moving around him. It's
really true what they say about photography: it isolates reality
better than anything else...

Finally the elves have done it again! This image truly a-sucks :-) (sorry, photographer guy...I am sure you're capable of much more...probably just not your best bit)
It's very confusing, not interesting, and those 2 semi-vertical bars in the foreground destroy the balance of the picture and make my head ache like a set of spiralling needles in my cerebellum! (ok, now I gave you a colourful image or what? :-). And yes, in case you are wondering, I am jealous this guy got his picture here and I didn't ;-)

This picture is great. But the ones in this guy's folder are even better. It's depressing to think you are an OK photographer and then you look at this guy's work and find out what pictures should look like :-) Congratulations, you are my idol now. And keep posting stuff. *Giacomo*

To me, this is all a fake...the sky is superimposed, and the red ball is a nice special effect. I can't be 100% sure, of course, but the light direction in the picture really doesn't seem right...

It's a nice photo, and I do like the expression of the kid. It's more one of surprise rather than irritation for having been interrupted. I just wish that shadow in the back wasn't there...it seems to draw my eye away from the composition more than an array of flesh-eating flies on a rottening picnic lunch (now, that's a peculiar image you could have probably done without...)

I don't get all this excitement about this picture. It's blurry, overexposed, grossly colour-corrected, and all in all not very good at all! Ok, I may be biased, but in light of the poor quality of a shot like this, I don't see why my pics never get posted :-(
