1.
I could find some by google image search "nikon transparent rear lens cap" and it brought me to the bay for an item named "nikon white rear lens cap". Other related (image) searches should bring up more hits.
Best regards

 2.
Dieter, I think the kids cost her an arm and a leg :)

This is one heck of a wednesday. Truly one of the best I've seen yet. My additional favourites;

Andy, great picture! looks like a perfect textbook image
Jonathan, superb detail! Wanted to post a question on wether the 105 could be used handheld and your picture is worth more than a thousand replies :)
Joe, magificent picture
Ray gosalia, good one. Great idea
Chris, wauw
David, nailed that exposure and athmosphere
Sjoerd, great timing
Curt, nice one! What settings & gear did you use?

I wouldn't mind to some higher resolution images and receive them as an RSS/desktop background feed...
I can't wait till next wednesday

 3.
Hi Guys & Girls,
Already heaps of posts today! Tried to be quick but missed the initial post by a few minutes and bang, already a dozen of posts...
Just proves how much everybody likes the wednesday threads.
Hamish, Great shot! Love the detailed shadow on that bee.
Also quite like the shot of anish, alejandro, dieter, bernard, monika and hamish.
This itsy bitsy spider was shot in a hurry in the back yard. It has that "take us to your leader" look alhough it wasn't really that big :)
Happy shooting,
Gert

00TXvQ-140435684.jpg.f36eba92a1f7b548d7e145b0cf481a66.jpg

 4.
Hi Guys & Gals
Some great shots already!
Jose, Great details! Good think he kept still.
I like that shot Matthews, at first look it's just ok but the longer you look at it, the more you appreciate it.
Didn't know Dover could have that exotic look Anish.
Here's my contribution for this week;
Shot with a D90 iso 200 1/500 (ish) and the 50mm at f8.
I really love that lens and if you crop (a lot) you almost have a macro look :)
Happy Shooting,
Gert

 5.
Hello Guys & Gals,
Good looking stuff all around again!
Finally there's some good weather coming and I could shoot a bit outside.
The 4.5 fps served me well capturing these little bee's hovering around from flower to flower.
Quite risky I think of it now; bees all over the place & fireants crawling everywhere :)
Shot with my D90 50mm1.8 1/2000s @ f2.8
Happy shooting,
Gert

 6.

Hi Guys,

Each wednesday I'm amazed by the outstanding pictures I see...
Jose, really dramatical good looking shot. Looks like a move poster to me!
Shawn, Pedro & all you others, Outstanding pictures yet again!

Below is a snake from our local zoo captured with my D90 & 50mm 1.8 @2.8 iso 220 which shines in those dark areas.
Most impressive to see!

Happy Shooting,
Gert

00T4Tu-125077584.jpg.ecc012cdfb2949f085788fba14fcaf33.jpg

 7.
Long time reader, first time picture poster :)
The grafitti says; "J'ai tojours voulu le faire!!" which means as much as "I've always wanted to do it!!"
Simple yet strong and meaningful.
In order to get the shot, I needed to step on a bench, reach out the d90 on top of my head as far as I could and use the live view to frame since the grafitti is in a closed station behind a 3 meter wall. It was the last shot with my 18-105 vr so far, after that I used my brand new 50mm 1.8 which hasn't left the cam yet...
Happy Shooting!

 8.
Hi Frankie,
Just received my 50mm 1.8d copy this weekend and I think I'll leave it on the d90 for a very long time, it's a gem! Fit's like a glove.
Make sure you align the white dots on the lens & body and then turn counterclockwise (with the 3in lcd pointing to your body).
Enjoy!
Cheers,
Gert
