Starting to convert some of my images to B&W. Would like to know
how I am doing. Any thoughts on this one? Thanks

I like the overall image, the colors and tone and light. One small thing that I am not sure of is the house may be a little too centered But that's just me. Nice work

A local lake had it's water level lowered for work on the dam. I took a
quick trip after work to get some shots and there were a lot of exposed
tree stumps. I felt this was one of my better compositions.
Any comments on the composition and PP effort would be appreciated
as I am still a work in progress. LOL.

While at Baltimore Ravens fan fest last week the pattern of empty seats
caught my eye. A lot of people walking around so I composed quickly
though. Took 3 shots this one seems best.
Realized later when reviewing I was still wide open at 2.8 so DOF
softens the seat numbers as you get to the edges. Not sure which way
would be better, More DOF so sharp all the way through or shallow like
I have so it does subtly pull your eye to the middel of the pattern.
Thoughts? Thanks

Is the sign a boring sillohuette? Is it too centered?

Does the umbrella in the corner distract or add to the photo? Thnaks for
your thoughts.

Wow. Good composition. Rises right up out of the bottom. Very nice!

Very nice. Love the colors and the leaves.

Awesome shot. Conveys the pure speed of the animal just as you wanted it to. The face and eye being sharp and in focus really makes the whole thing work for me. Excellent.

Does the sun really rise in the east?

I think it works. It gives the moving subject "a place to go". The pylon in the background helps too with where on the field he is. For thsoe who wouldn't realize there are no more hash mark anyhow. Haha

Thanks for any comments

Does this photo need more? I'm still very new to the hobby and
sometimes feel I try to "force" photos when there really isn't anything
there worth looking at.

I have read most of the comments above and glazed over the rest. I have an untrained eye(or at the least minimal training). I would like to comment mostly on the composition and how I feel about it as a very new "student" to this art. My initial feeling fromt the picture was like most have stated, childhood. What the picture first made me want to do was to walk right up to that trike and get on it. Very strong feeling of that in fact. If the trike were to have been placed in the left side of the frame that feeling goes away.
I don't see a need for the trike to have "room to move" which is what some are saying. Also witht he trike where it is there is also a sense of wanting to walk past the bike and down the path to further investigate what the surroundings may bring. Is there someone waiting just outisde the shot? Did the child stop to lok something over and is just outside the frame? Etc..
Just my thoughts
