Was it Nadine who said to shoot in Raw if possible? Unless you want to be worrying about your white balance the whole time (and it will change depending on where you are and what kind of lighting), you'll need the Raw format to be able to correct your white balance. White balance is a lot more important when photographing people than scenic shots or architecture. People like to look a little more warm (tan?) than an auto setting will give you - and you don't want your white wedding dress looking gray. <P> Good luck!
