Hi Andrea, just came along as I needed to change something on PNET and had a look to 'yours' - this one ... Cold & Hot , Young and not so Young, Black and White - Well done again!

But not Anne-Sophie Mutter ;-) which came into my mind directly.

Ciao Niki,
this one is really fantastic!
They are changing from the dark to the light side of life.
Very well done!

Andrea, I don't have to add my words here - - - it talks for it self!
Ciao Axel
PS I can not hesitate to add: Kind of multiple & extrapolated Renaissance here...

Andrea, great exposure and framing here. Fantastic how you got him. This is a keeper and I would like to see that kind as POW.
I like how the lines are flowing form Davids face down the arm, then the knee/leg to Goliath and finally to the 'center' of the image "the man" excluded from the painting by the frame.
And "the man" has to look up to David, in terms of size, beeing a Goliath for him.
Great composition of the art of painting and the art of photographing.

Came along that one several times, hard to find the correct words.
This is a well composed urban image. Lady in thoughts waiting for her way, while the (probably) waste-truck passes by.
And what I always like - the dots counterpoint the zebra crossing.
Well done!

Now that's a surprise - great to 'see' you here again!
Hope the things are fine down under.
Best greetings Axel

Meir, yes this one is really cool!
Ok John, I continue on the relation which can be found with the little girl sitting on the column looking down to the boy with the red cap. Here the circle closes that composition of old and new which was already the intend of the painter and which was continued by Meir in the image. That also is enhanced by the old column and the people of this days.
Still much more - the next one please.

Thank you Marjolein!
Here is the BW version - what do you think? I still prefer the Colour version.
Doing that I saw also that the top of the image is very fluttery, but cropping away is also not nice. So I will stay with the image as it came 'out of the box'. Thank you for pointing out to have a try on BW.

You put Andrea into good light :-) Nice to see.

The original version can be found in the people color folder.
This version goes back to Ton Mestrom as he suggested the crop & BW, which I think is the much better one.

You nailed it - I have been sitting in front of it like a blind dug - I saw this image has a power - but was not able to see that a square crop would solve my problem with the right 'light'-box!
In that case I'm glad that I asked for critique and you opened my view. Sometimes obvious things can not be seen...
Second, the BW conversion - this is also so obvious, that I wonder that I did not even think on it - why? I don't know, but lately I did a lot in color, this may switched off my thoughts on BW.
Thank you a lot. I'll rework it now. I will leave this here as reminder to myself, but upload the version you suggested in the BW folder.

Well seen! The diagonal painting fits well into picture. I think it's falling a little to the left, but that's just my feeling.

Jack, a break is always refreshing, take it a little longer then previous planed and come back with full joy! I'll stay tuned!

View to a view to a viewer... like a triangle where the third is missing. Good BW tomes here.

red reached ambiguity here and the strong lady in the front is the exclamation mark to it. Also like the two centred women framed by the men.

Beautiful shot! Regards Axel

Yes, I had thought on that, but thought that she will become very at the right border as the hand reaches too far. Without the hand it would be much easier.
Till your suggestion I did only think on it, but skipped it - now I did it and will try to link the try to this thread.
Thank you for your comments.

", my sister." this shot was reminding me directly to his style and latest uploads.
The square format works very well here - it may also could work by cuttig to 3:2 at shortly below the upper feed - but that just my 2 cents.
I really like this kind of shot - some magic & dynamic is always in that shadow shots.
