Hey John,
First thing, it's Mar_L_on :)
I appreciate the comments, and actually I did crop it tighter on the shoulder, but I still left a bunch of space to the left... that's just kind of my style, it's not for everyone but it's how I compose my images.
As per the skin, Lauren had great skin and I didn't do a great deal retouching her forehead or her cheeks... Though I did dodge the highlights a bit so maybe that's where you're missing some of the texture. I'm not a big fan of the plastic-skin, no-pore look either. The place I had to retouch the most was her chin, which was a bit red with some imperfections.
Thanks for looking!

I love the tones, and the painting-like background blur, but most of all I love her expression. You've captured a wonderful moment. Great model, too. I like the grain, too.

I love this shot! In the thumbnail I thought it was a moving train, and I love how it's not just a snapshot of a car but an image that captures a perspective I don't ever see of an automobile. Love how you got low on it to isolate it from what I guess is just lines of other cars and people. Well done.

Amazing image. Truly beautiful.

I love the concept, and the pose is great. The difference of brightness between her leg and her chest is a bit distracting, but overall this is an awesome image.

Concrete Balconies

The ONLY thing sticking out to me is that little stain the middle that my eye keeps catching! Very cool abstract shot. The diagonal white concrete contrasts well with the horizontal darker blocks, and the railings provide good contrast. I can see this looking awesome printed big in a black frame. Great angle and perspective.
