Vivid!!! -
In July of last year, a friend told me his band was going into the recording studio to
work on a new album, and he invited me to come by and document the session. Most
of the shots were pretty pedestrian, but I thought this particular photo captured
"something".
What do you think?

Nice. I haven't tried long exposures with concert shots. Flash is a little too hot for my taste, though.

The red light on the left side of his face definitely helps separate him from the background. Nice depth of field. Great shot, overall.

How did you get a camera into a Cirque show? -
I like how tight the shot is. The way the mic handle disappears works too.

outdoor, APS SLR camera.
I absolutely LOVE the somewhat abstract shadow shape and
that it came out a really deep black.

my personal preference would have been to get a better angle on the guitar body. Barring that, I would have gone for a tighter shot. Just my opinion.

Studio shot for school. Model was a friend that I've known for 13+ years, so he had no
problem goofing off in front of the camera. First time using a 6x7 in studio with
strobes. Thoughts?
