1.
I was given two large framed photos back in the late 80s. They were found in the attic of an old house where a relative lived in San Francisco. Could anyone here give an educated guess as to the era and location. The 36"x10" might be identifiable to someone who has spent lots of time in the mountains, possibly the Sierra Nevada in California.

Thanks!

 2.
I have had my G9 for over two years and love most aspects of it. Lately however I have noticed that it will not set a shutter speed longer than 1" in AV mode. I have been through the manual and all the in camera settings and can find nothing that would cause this. At first I thought it was a limitation of RAW which I just started using a month ago but it does it in all JPEG settings also. TV and Manual exposure work fine with no limitations.
Has anyone experienced this? Does my camera need service or is it some obscure setting that I am missing. Thanks for your input.

 3.
Anyone ever purchase from QVC? Reseller Ratings doesn't rate them very high but BizRate does. They have K20D's with the kit lens for $822. I wanted one badly when they were discontinued. Still can't really afford it but I may have to find a way...

 4.
I have found that for digital noobs like me, CS3 is WAAAAY more than I can figure out especially if you are not using it on a daily basis. CS3 will do everything in Elements and then more than you can imagine. I have used Paint Shop Pro X and CS3 and find myself using PSPX because to me it is so much easier to use. If I were a professional or had aspirations to be a pro I would go with CS3 (CS4) and start learning. But since I am just an enthusiast and only edit photos once a week or less I will stick with PSPX which is comparable to Elements.
