I had planned to take pictures of the bridge only but I think the

I was trying to create a simple graphic image with impact. In the
original picture there was a can of WD40 in the corner behind the
pumpkin. It was slightly odd. Should it of been removed?

Todd you have executed this very well and I am very impressed with the results.
I tried to improve on last year's images but I couldn't get the little buggers to cooperate this year. (My wife was very displeased with last year's photo session.)

The white surface is a large white porcelain serving dish. (My wife's favourite serving dish!) The kids thought it was cool but my wife had a different opinion.
I used the intervalometer on my digital camera so I have a lot of pictures of the ants coming and going. I thought this was one of the more aesthetic pictures.
I tried it a second time outside with a larger spot of syrup. The syrup was completely gone after two days. The ants are very active during the day but not at night.

The lighting on his face balances beatifully with the his hat and shirt. How did you get the nice lighting?

camera flash with gels to highlight boats. How did it work?
