1.
I forgot to add that you might enjoy checking out the recipes page on the TRA site. Other photographers have posted photos listing the different combination of TRA actions they used and you can see all the cool effects.

Here is another site with the vintage style. I enjoy checking it out from time to time for inspiration:
2.
I checked out the site. The vintage look is very trendy right now and most photographers are using actions to achieve it. Probably the most commonly used for the vintage effect are the TRA actions, (which I don't own.) You can go to the TRA site and try out the actions to see what they look like.

You can also get this look with Kevin Kubota's actions. Although I don't use the technique much, I have discovered that I can get this exact look by combining Kevin Kubota's "Too Blue Daylight Tungsten" action (with the opacity adjusted to taste) and the X process combo, (again with adjusted opacity) in his Artistic Version 1 pack.

 3.
Missy, I have a blu site and host with them, too. When I saw your email, I immediately went in and checked my site. Guess what? My contact form didn't work, either. Blu must have changed the security settings on the account. I changed the setting back from the advanced smtp settings to the simple version and now it works. Like you, I am NOT happy that this was done without my authorization. Anyway, try setting it back to the non-advanced smtp settings and I bet you'll get your messages. One quick note...be SURE to check your junk mail at least once a day, because my messages from the contact form went right into the junk.

 4.
Try Mpix . They ship prints of different finishes all in the same package. Their quality is beautiful, pricing is great and priority shipping is just $6.00 with no additional fee to drop-ship your order to customers in plain packaging. There is no minimum order.

Their parent company is Millers , (similar products and quality as WHCC) with whom I do most of my larger order fulfillment. If you join Millers you can get books shipped next-day fed-ex with no shipping fee, but Millers has a minimum order requirement and won't ship different finishes in the same package, just like WHCC. I do not know of a company that ships books and prints in the same package due to differing processing times.

 5.
Missy-
I'm sure others can specifically answer most of your questions, but thought I would post this just in case you are still seeking additional info. I had a similar issue with a lighting kit I was interested in purchasing, and wasn't quite sure about which accessories I needed to complete my set up. I called B&H and talked to their CS dept. They directed me to a lighting expert that answered all my questions and helped me purchase exactly what I needed. It was great! If you don't get the answers you are looking for here, give B&H a call, and I'm sure they will guide you in the right direction.

 6.
I'm a fairly new wedding photographer, (in business 3 years, ) and here's my two cents from that perspective, for what it's worth. It quite possibly will reflect poorly on you if this gets out, and it is causing unnecessary drama that could stain your business reputation, all over a few detail shots. You've got them posted on your own blog...isn't that enough? You work is lovely, and I'm confident that there will be many other weddings to promote your business with. Use those.
If the situation were reversed, would YOU be upset? (Be honest with yourself and think about it carefully once you've had a chance to cool down.)

Be glad you did the right thing and let it go.

 7.
A very pretty shot. The gown is a bit blown out. Visually, I think the composition could be a bit more appealing for a traditional formal picture. If I were setting up the shot myself, I would have put the bridesmaids on the same side as the bride, and the groomsmen on the groom’s side, making an arrangement of 3 and 3 on either side of the couple. The odd number of couples on one side of the b&g doesn't quite work in my opinion.

The background is lovely, but there is a strip of bright sunlight coming in that is distracting from the subjects. In the background, I can see there is full shade available near the wall of the chapel, which might have provided more even lighting for the picture.

Hindsight is always 20/20, and it can be a challenge setting up group shots, especially if time is limited. Overall, a nice picture, with good focus and vibrant color.

 8.
I have been photographing weddings for almost 2 years, and have done about 30 so far. This photo was taken from a wedding I photographed in July. The families were of Ukrainian descent. It was fascinating to experience a wedding from another culture. I have never seen so many guest cameras! This shot is of the flower girl as she makes her way down the aisle. Nikon D200, 85mm. lens, 2.5, 1/100.
