Lighting could have been toned down to avoid the artificial look.   Nice picture though.

Funny composition.  It may be better if you had additional takes to replace #2 or #4 so they are not the same.  Or as others said, just make the shadow/light consistent.

How do you compare FP4 to TMX100 since you use both?

Nice. Less contrast overall, especially on the face and coat can make the shot more faltering.

You can try not to sharpen at all and just do selective sharpening on the eyes and lips.

You may even consider a soft focus filter around the eye and nose.

You can then sharpen the entire shot with a radius of 80-100 to keep the overall contrasty look without forcing the detail out.
