mixer, mostly red channel. High key is intentional.

I really like the range on this shot, and her expression. Her right eye, though, seems to be heading off somewhere else... a bit unerving to me. But lovely overall.

I love the dark tones.. wish there was more detail in the shadows. Love the expression and dialated eyes.

Too much crop and not enough detail for me. I know this is the effect you're going for probably... but I find the bottom crop too tight and the tri-tone effect a leaving me wanting more ... tone :-)

Instead of the traditional 'smooth' b&w look, I decided to dom

something stark and gritty. I'm curious what kind of impression the

image makes on you. Thanks in advance.

Nice portrait, but no detail right side of face...

I like this picture, some may think it's pedestrian, but I still think it's lovely. Great expression, a bit mysterious. Active, a sense of motion, great lighting. Natural skin, love it !

Two things:

 

1.> The hand is actually in the neg, should fix soon.

 

2.> This is a machine scan from Overlake Photo (Bellevue Washington), from TMX film which seems way too dense for their machine. The negative has detail everywhere, face, top, etc... I was very disapointed, note the banding on her leg and the dust !! I'll do my own scan soon.
