1.
you can get yourself some of the radio remote trigger, and eliminate those issue with flashes direct on the camera.
Then you can position both of them how ever you want.
With some of the remote trigger, I think, even TTL is possible.

 2.
Thanks all a lot for your answers.

What do you think about Photographing Castle's?? Is that covered by Panoramabildfreiheit or not??

If I take a few photo's from some Castle's (and it's a bunch of them around here), and plan a trip to some really nice like Bayern's Schweinstein Castle or so....

Thanks again.

 3.
Hi guys/gals,

I recently moved to Germany, and would like to know if anyone on Photo.net is from Germany or have info's what we can and can't do?
I heard/read of some bloggers who took some Photo from Buildings and got screwed up with fine.

Just curious, if I start here to take Photo's in Germany (Heidelberg), what I can do and what I have to be really careful about.

Any info is much appreciated.

Very sincerely,

Dino

 4.
I have sb600 and two older vivitar 283 and firing almost always all three of them via ishoot pt-04 wireless and with great success. They all work just fine.
Think that all vivitar 283 are about $30, pt-04 are about $40-$50 and they work just fine.
Using those pt-04 to fire studio flashes too with pc sync cord, visatec units, all 6 of them without problems.
Also have used a set of radio poppers and they work great too.

Just my $.02 on this matter.

 6.
I am happy with my D200 & D300 cameras, very much so. Have battery grip for both of them and love that way to get more shots from both, never had problem with D200 & battery grip to run out of juice, also have extra/spare battery's to replace when I shot wedding and such, so it's not a big issue for me.
Love both cameras and will keep them for long time.

 7.
Just a bit of advice, if you're not already thinking about this, to get everything in writing and make a contract that you're not responsible and .... it's up to you to make this contract good as it can be.
I recommended to friend who did wedding for a friend and I highly suggested to get contract, even if he was doing for free. So, long story short, he didn't make contract, and bite him in his ars... big time.
He did good job in my opinion, he is good photographer, but made mistake not having contract.
On next wedding for another friend, he got one of mine contracts re-designed and everything was ok.
So, he told me he will never do a favor again to someone without contract, at least just stating he is doing voluntary work and can't be sued for whatever reason, etc...
I think with our equipment, you can be and can make good photos, but if you don't have contract even for this "FREE" work, something may get wrong.
Also, talk to them to have a few minutes before wedding to take a few nice pictures "for engagement" session, and also arrange with them for "just in case" and "if something..." so you can re-take pictures to help them out.
You will be looking like a hero with this and cover yourself for "just in case" and "if something...".
When I do shot for free, if I don't make written contract, I always make verbal telling them same thing that would be in contract, just to cover myself.
Just my $.02 on this matter.

 8.
I agree with you guys. I remembered shooting with old BW russian zenith camera, and love that little camera back in days, say back in 1980ish .... lol, now shooting almost all the time with DSLR's from nikon.
Would love to get me some 645AFDII mamiya with digital back, or maybe hasselblad mf, but for what I shooting now, they don't suit me while majority of my income come from sport photos.
I am mostly little league sport photog and wedding & family portrait, and would love to shoot with MF.
I do not disagree that newer camera's are better, heck yes, they are. Better AF, better colors, etc.... and I do not care about MP count so much, but don't hurt to have more....
I saw so many great images guys made with D100 and also with D40ish kind of cameras, which are entry level DSLR. If one know how to use, compose & prepare for shot, use available & provided lights, then image have to be great.
The only reason I do not shoot film anymore is processing of rolls, scanning them, etc... I know that everyone can scan for you, even Costco/Walmart guys can develop & scan on cd for you, but I do not like anymore to wait for my images. Like to see them right away and download on the computer and edit them and..... you have a picture, lol.
But sometime pull out my old Yashica and Nikon FM2 and shoot roll or two just for fan when I don't have nothing better to do.

Have a great time with your D100, it's still nice camera and very capable.

 9.
first of all I would point that's not the camera but the person behind that matters, correct me if I am wrong.
So, if you start with D100 and if you outgrow that camera, you can always get yourself something like D200 and/or D300, D700 is a full frame like you probably already know and it's a great camera, either way you go after that, you will not be wrong.
Just my $.02

 10.
Taken last weekend in Clemmons, NC, Tanglewood Park, saw for first time Native American Indian dance, called Camp Pow Wow.
Since I was born and raised in Europe and came to USA 12 years ago, never saw real Native American Indian before this event.
Temperature was over 100F or over 40C, really hot...
Dance and music was amazing.
Taken with D300 & Sigma 18-50mm f2.8 EX DC HSM handheld.
11.
I still on occasion shoot old nikon FM2N and friend of mine shoot N80 & N90, Pentax MF, and they are still great cameras, sometime we use them as try out on some weddings, ceremonies, etc... specially MF Pentax

 12.
Hey Wes,

thanks for answer, I do appreciate very much.

Already have print shop, really great one to work with, and they already have done a bunch of work for me.
I did take pictures of about 480 kids in one day with assistant/2nd shooter and one more person on desk taking care for pre-pay order envelopes and everything was smooth.
So, already have system that may work for 2-3 days shooting, with 2nd shooter/assistant and someone to help with order envelopes.
I was curios about contract, need one sample letter and such. If you can provide a sample contract, I would appreciate that.
Someone from PTA will help me out with finding out with this school what percentage of commission should I gave back to school and about yearbook.
Already have system in place with order envelopes and sitting sequence number to match kid and teams.
For how long should I have contract signed with this school?
I think this guy was there for about 7 years and start cutting corners and doing less and finally last time screw up on some yearbook photos and they want to get rid of him. It's not like I was going there to get his job.
Again, thanks for answering and giving your advice.
