I try to replace quadrangular shape with round or oval, based on catchlights on any eyes on cartoon or on some still life painting.

Photographers have to keep a good balance between recording and beautify, here I am going the 2nd direction.

I will not use mask, but printed diffuser, so I can make the edge of the printed area extractly to the edge of the softbox. So size is not my concern here.

With printing, I can even print a window with color glasses, just turn your softbox into a window in church. And I can print graduated gray, which will give big help cell phone photographers.

Normally I use a softbox with graduated panel to show reflecting objects, especially mirror surface.

We were provided with rectangular softbox or square softbox.

Basically round shapes are better looking on refecting objects, like eyes,

glasses, etc. So We have octagon softbox, but it is too big and too soft.

Then if you can design, what shapes you want them to be?<div></div>
