Kingsford is God in Fine Art 3 Posted January 28, 2008 I am working on a body of work that is based on my immediate environment. The suburbs. Inspired by my initial reluctance to accept my place in life, I decided to use my viewpoint to analyze what makes a modern suburban neighborhood. What constitutes a suburbanites identity? This image is simple and formal, but in a lot of ways, iconic. This images (and the overall body of work) have been inspired by Bill Owens, William Eggleston, Greg Crewdson, J. Shimmon and J. Lindemann, to name a few. At my university, we critique at length, but I haven't really tapped in to online sites such as photo.net in a while.
