I've been looking far and wide for instructions on how to build a lightbox. The kind I'm looking for is not the light box for taking photos of a
small object, or for looking at slides/negs, but for showing Duratrans photos in a gallery setting.
The two main things I need to figure out are:
How far away should the fluorescents be from the image?
Do I need to have frosted plexi behind the image or is that overkill (being that Duratrans is diffused on the back already)
Any help or directions to a site that details this stuff would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I had just printed on an HP z3100 with both Kodak Universal Backlit and Kodak Reversal Backlit. Both came out very
contrasty - lost alot in the shadows and also the blacks are never really black. Something like 5% grey. A little grainy too.
It's 'good enough' but not anywhere near as nice as Duratrans.

I've had this problem after scanning huge 1.15G files from my Flextight scanner. However,
the last time it happened I simply waited. Also I closed down Photoshop. I think it may
simply be still, in the background, writing the huge file and I just tried to open it before it
was finished. After a minute or two, it opened fine.
Has anyone had this problem with super big scans?
