    simon,

hi, amazing tones and clarity within this image,

i'm also a consulting eng. by profession and unfortunately can see that the vents (smaller pipes) at the top were installed in the wrong direction, if the system ever blocked you always make sure you send in the 'plumbers mate' to open the access door at the bottom left of the pipework system.... and stand well clear.

a shot of an inquisitive goose, unfortunately viewed larger the focus

appears to be in front of the birds eye, (any advise on focus points with

    a canon s5)

i still however get drawn to what the birds thoughts may be? do you?

the image was cropped slightly but the angle of the bird is all its own.

thanks for taking the time out to review

    regards richard

  1. 1/18 scale toy model photographed on a white paper background, with

the camera set on the floor on timer mode,

i adjusted the levels very slightly, any comments on this and alternative

methods of photographing still life objects would be helpful please.

i'm looking for constructive comments of this image taken in Poole

Dorset, England, its photoshopped to within an inch of its life! as there

were some seriously distracting elements in the original frame, other

boats, the messy horizon etc etc.

    many thanks

David, thanks for the comment, i thought about the various angles but to no avail, Eros's statue was crawling with people, the only saving grace was to reduce the dof as best i could

interview i came across whilst passing through Picadilly in London.

    many thanks

  2. david,

hi, i have just found your images after previously being astounded by the quality of the Wolfe house image

the variation in your portfolio is huge from landscapes through to Macro and portraits etc

i will pass by again regularly

whats the story behind the 'glory hole'

    Luis,

    superb action photo,

the boys faces, the dust and the goal keeper

trying to get a better view of the ball are great.

Was the photo taken from the other end of the pitch?

And have you thought of cropping the shot down to the

top of the hedge, so that only green is shown as the background?

    regards Richard
