Fabulous! Great action shot, in my opinion. I do, however, agree that a tighter shot could offer a more dramatic image. I could do away with most of the reflection but the feet of the animals.

I'm unsure whether such a cloudy sky could've lit the entire scene that much. I think it was overworked, thus, adding to the confusing nature of the overall image.

The sky doesn't really work for me. It works best, in my opinion, when the image is cropped to just below where the sky starts to show -- it gives more emphasis on how fun being in the water is and what is in store further up the river.

Interesting photograph. I would recommend viewing John Daido Loori's "Tao of Water"

Undoubtedly an excellent shot, I find that the absence of a true horizon takes something away from the image.

You either love this image or hate it, no in-between. Definitely an acquired taste to appreciate the image, but I love it! It is so different from the majority of photographs in here.

I don't agree that this image should be cropped if you were going to keep the title of the image - "Heavy Duty Grandpa." The title (on the hat) gives another dimension to the person's life. I feel that it adds to the multitude of perceptions about the gentleman's demeanor in the photo.

Looks like a composite to me

Nice portrait

Not too thrilled about the sky

A good study in lighting and exposure. Congratulations.

A tad too cliche' and overworked (see eyes)

Reminds me of vintage images of iron workers in NYC.
Updated and minimal - great shot!
