1.
Back in 99 or 2000, I scored a great Besler MX 45 enlarger with a computer dichro color head, three beautiful Nikkor lenses and lens boards, and a set of holders from 35mm - 4x5, including a slide carrier, all for $250. The seller had spelled both "Besler" and "enlarger" wrong, so I got it for his starting price with only a handful of auction views during the 7 day auction.
It's the only time I've ever jumped on something that was too good to be true, and I still consider myself very lucky to have not been ripped off. Generally, as said many times already, if it looks too good to be true. . . it is!

 2.
Thanks, all, for your thoughts. I returned the CaseLogic bag and, for now, I'm going to stick with a couple of neoprene sleeves made for Nalgene waterbottles and whatever bag I happen to be carrying at the moment. My main concern is those times when I want to take it with me on a trail run and need something stable, durable enough to protect the camera from sweat and light rain, body conforming, and small. But, I've been searching for that same solution for years without finding the perfect bag, so it's nothing new.
Hugh, you can put your hackles down. I wasn't asking you to do my searching for me. I've done plenty of my own and was curious about what worked for others, just in case I'd missed a tidy answer to the question. The Domke bags are great for around town and general travel, but unfortunately don't fare so well when skiing, trail running, fast hiking, etc.

 3.
I recently picked up the Sony NEX-5N with the 18-55mm and 16mm lenses so that I have a mobile system that can easily go with me when I'm traveling, hiking, trail running, skiing, etc., and not able to lug my Canon DSLRs and lenses around. I know that this is the Olympus and 4/3 forum, but my question should be relevant to this location. The question is:
In what type of bag do you carry your compact system? I'm looking for a small bag that's fairly protective, slim, can be slung over one shoulder for hiking or walking, and will also slip into a standard backpack or messenger bag for protection when I'm travelling on the airlines.
I have this $12, on-sale, Case Logic bag as a temporary solution, but would like something that's less purse or camera bag-ish. Does anyone have any suggestions? Perhaps a small messenger bag or something along those lines? What works best for all of you?

 4.
Having lived and shot in the Northern Great Lakes region for years, I agree that this doesn't look like a condensation-related issue.
I would take it to a Nikon repair shop, but would first try shooting with another lens to rule out a lens issue, and would then use the sensor cleaning mode or a long shutter speed without a lens attached to directly observe the function of the shutter. Whatever is happening should be visible.
