  1. Ok I have been debating about going to primes... So would this be a good idea...

    I have a 24-70 2.8L sell it and get:

    Canon 20 2.8 & 85 1.8

    I have the 50 1.2L

I have no other money to spend only what I get from the lens...

I was also thinking maybe saving the money and when I get a couple 100 bucks more get the 35 1.4

let me know what you guys think..

    Thanks

  2. I had the 50 1.8 and did not like the build quality and it's nosiey.. I got the 50 1.4 and love it.. It is my fav lens.. I recommend to everyone when you buy any len Take it to the canon service center to have it calibrated and check.. my 50 had rear focus problems..

  5. I have been playing around with my 40d and live view... I like that you can view

your histogram to get a good exposure.. But I am just woundering how many people

shoot with it on a regular basis... Like portrait, children, marco, weddings..

or even out shooting a client...

    thanks

  6. I have a 40d and I was thinking of getting battery grip... but pictures I have

seen with the 40d with grip make the camera look really big... I have big

hands... so is it worth spending the money... thanks guys for any help

  7. just wanted to share with everyone I took my rebel xti with kit lens and my 50mm

1.8 to the canon service center to have them calibrate it..

they were very nice... great customer service.. They found under exposure with

the camera body... and both lens had PCB problems.. picture look sharper and

exposure is fixed not so dark... I would recommend everyone send there camera in

    to get calibration

I took it to the irvine center
