1.
Are any of you having trouble renewing your expiring subscription? Well, I am. I keeping getting-

Server Error

The requested URL cannot be accessed due to a system error on this server.- when I try to renew. What's the deal here, does any one know?

  2. Honestly. Why can't we just have an anonimus critique for anything below a rate or 4? For those of you who have just simply georgous photographs alway ( and there are many of you) you will never need to worry about a bad critique, but for some of us (like myself) maybe a critique would be in order, even if anonimus.
  3. Yep, that should do it. Before you sigh up this should be explained in detail. No 3/3/ Rate Complainers Allowed or We Will Pull Your Rating Privilages. Wouldn't even be a need for this forum. If the 3/3 ratings are meaningless then why have it on here? Only thing it does is make some photographer feel bad with no thoughts as to why their photograph was rated 3/3. and my thought are, why make someone feel that bad about their photograph if it is meaningless and there is no explanation offered.
  4. Hummmmmmmmmmmm, " This thread should have stayed in the archives" " I wish lousy photographers out there would just stop taking pictures instead of continuing to improve" after my comment. The lousy photographer comment is what stood out." Seriously", I feel that no one should be referred to as a lousy photographer, again, my opinion tho.
  5. Raa- you are blessed by just being able to voice your opinion on this forum and not be put down. I wonder why? When I first joined I too commented on the3/3/ratings, becaues it was anonimus and I saw beautiful, great photographs getting 3/3 ratings. I too felt a 3/3 should be only given with a critique. But guess what, I was ridiculed, put down, and screamed at for just bringing the topic up. I was told I should have not voiced my opion and have left this topic in the arcives. As a paying customer I felt I had the right to voice my opinion just as everyone else has without being treated soooooo rudely. I still think a lot of the 3/3 ratings are just plain jealously, jealously, and spite.
  6. none of the pages will load from photo.net. no pictures etc, just a list of text.

Pictures have an x in them. All other web links load as usual. I am using my

husbands computer to send this message. He has no problem viewing photo.net.

Any thought on what could be wrong? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

  7. Michael, What I and others have suggested would be nice but know its not going to be that way. Really, I don't give a sh-t what kind of ratings I get. There not going to make me or break me. The only reason I am on here is that I enjoy looking at other subscribers photographs, and hope some one enjoys looking as mine. I just felt I had the right to simply put my 2cents worth in on this subject. Guess I get a 3/3 for thinking this hu? Wow don't expect me to post on here anymore.
  8. 3/3's and below should be accompanied by a critique as to why so low a rating. This should be mandatory. This could certinly be intregated into this program software. I don't mind getting an honest 3/3, but I would like to know why so that I can improve. Actually, we pay to be on here,it certainly isn't free. It takes time and effort to take, prepare, and post these photographs for others to view, so I would think that the administrators of this sight would really like for this kind of consideration to be shown to their subscribers. I think they do a really great job, but think in this area more could be done.I wouldn't mind even if the 3/3 or below raters remained anonymous Just don't leave me hanging as to "what did I do wrong".
  9. There is a photo tracking software. Digimarc imbeds into the photo information that can be tracked no mater where it is or who is using it. It is very useful for just this kind of stealing. For those of you who might be interested in this. it can be found at Digimarc.com.I would only use it on my very best photos though, as it is a bit pricey.
