Another very good addition to your Phillipe chapter in your portfolio. It's wonderful that you have successfully captured so many sides of what looks like a very interesting character. Very expressive work!

The seduction of illusions
This is terrific. The unlikely perfect match between the pediment and the woman's hip really catapults this snap into an arresting icon...the graphic simplification of the shadow portrays drama, a sexual or emotional tension belied by the flatness of the shadow forms, and transforms the stolid architecture into a stage set. Shadow puppets cast by errant sunlight into a transient dance, captured and framed by the quick wit and accurate eye of the alert photographer. An entre'act worthy of Plato's cave.

Soft and gently flowing forms in the clouds as well as the shapes of the mountains make for a very attractive photo. The exposure is right on, all the way from the reflection to the horizon to the upper portions of the sky.

I agree, it tells you a story and I always think that the most important aspect for a portrait is, more than technic used, that it should make you to imagine that you are having a conversation with subject. I like it

I love a bit of story-telling in images. And this image does that. Even though the 'classic way' of positioning people is to place them that they are looking into the frame, the complete opposite is in use here, and admirably used here. Great shot!
