this is basically a glorified snapshot. it would have been nice to have a tripod and
more time. however, doing nearly 30km before an afternoon storm requires a lot of
gear staying at home.
the is one of the many piles on the top of mt. algonquin in new york. it is not as sharp
as i would like, because being well above the treeline the wind was really blowing.

this turned out to be a great day of climbing at a striking cliff in the 'dacks. i have
discovered that i need a wider lens for when we visit some of the bigger cliffs.
thanks for any comments.

This shot was taken at the top of the climb called The Prince, located on the King Wall
in the High Peaks region of the Adirondacks. We had just finished the final pitch and
were setting up the rappel when the weather turned from sunny to overcast and windy.
It was raining by the time we got to the ground 200 feet later...
any comments or critiques are welcome. cheers.

this was a very cold morning, -20C. that along with the fog created a really thick coat
of frost on nearly everything. any comments are appreciated.

Climbing Predator at Rumney NH
in Sport
Posted
my friend Jed has a new climbing project at rumney. since it is one of the most
photogenic climbs there, i figured i'd tag along.
the light was very contrasty, but i figured that since i was already there i'd keep
shooting. this was one of the better moments of the climb. it is rated 5.13b if anyone
is interested.
any comments and critiques are welcome.
