Hello,
I worked 2 years at Duke University in Durham, NC. I shot lots of slides in and around Durham. Check my folder, where is an autumn shot of Duke University tower. It is located at:

35mm print to 35mm slides to 645 slides... the 'WOW' factor
in Medium Format
Posted
A projected medium format slide is second to none. I shot 35mm slides (mostly Velvia) for years projecting with a dissolve unit of two Leica P600 projectors with 90mm /F2.4 Super Colorplan lenses and was pretty happy with the results...until I bought a Mamiya 6MF with 50, 75 and 150 lenses. The first 6x6 slides were so much better than anything I have shot on 35mm before, that I almost stopped using my Nikon stuff. To finish up in the quality chain: lens - camera - film -slide mount - projector - projector lens I figured I had to get the best possible 6x6 projector out there.
The Goetschmann. I bought the model G 67 with 150mm/2.8 lens and and additional wide angle Carl Zeiss 75mm/3.5 lens. The projected slides (Gepe glas slide mounts) almost bring back the reality: bitingly sharp, top notch tonal range and no visual grain. The G 67 beams out an enormous amount of light (3000 lumen), way more than any of the competition. Thanks to 2 independent fans, one for the 1000 W lamp, one for the slide, it won't harm the precious slides.
Another advantage of 6x6 over 645: it will always fill the entire screen, which maximizes the visual impact further.
Go get a medium format slide projector !
