Hi,
I love the shading and composition - absolutely beautiful job with this photograph. The contrast between the smooth shell of the eggs and the rough basket is very nice. The dof is perfect. Really enjoy this photo a great deal.
Cheers,
Jon

Thanks for any thoughts...especially concerning the background...

Les,
Thanks...it's a little soft for me too - wouldn't you know that i had several in this series that were very sharp, but this is the one where it all came together with the model's expression - and it wasn't quite tack sharp. I ran it through a couple of sharpening programs, but this was the best I could do with that issue. Thanks again for the comment.
Cheers,
Jon

I very much like the look and feel of this shot - very emotive. By the way, thanks for commenting on one of my photos - a Pink Floyd inspired, "another brick in the wall." You have a great body of work here - thanks for sharing your world with the rest of us!

Jennifer,
Great capture - love the atmosphere you have created with your shot. I understand what you are trying to accomplish with including only the essentials in your shot...having said that, however, the crop is a little tight, and I think that your flower girls need a little room to move - just my 2 cents!
Best to you,
Jon

Wonderful composition. Love the light and textures you have captured here. It really strikes a chord with me - would love to see this blown up and hanging on a wall - mine preferably!

Jeff,
As a father of seven (5 boys and 2 girls) this scene resonates strongly with me - I recognized it immediately. Wonderful tension and instant story created here. Lovely work.

Greetings from northern Illinois!
This is just lovely. I love the line that is created with the young girl's left arm - perfect framing device! I also like the blurring and high key effect in the left and upper left of the photo. You have turned a typically mundane shot into something very beautiful - well done!
By the way, thanks for rating my reflection photo - much appreciated.
Good light and Good luck,
