What a beautiful shot. Making me miss home!

I would be surprised if an eagle either knew or cared about the quibbles of men. Beautiful shot however.

Now that's what I call a landscape! What is the small hut on the peak to the left?

Nice light and reflections. Shame the top is amputated. Step back 20m or so?

Welcome to photo.net!
You've chosen an interesting subject here. And I must say I like the pattern and bokeh of the out of focus area of this shot very much.
However, the subject... firstly, I would try framing (and/or cropping) this shot differently. The bug seems somehow squashed into the bottom right hand corner of the photo. Perhaps rotating the image 30 degrees anti-clockwise, and cropping to a more square shape might be an improvement here. Also, the focus point seems to be midway down the far wing, giving you some softness in the eye and thorax. Try locking your focus on the eye next time.
Not a bad start!

Hey, Great shot Antonio! I have one very similar (http://photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=8940760&size=lg). But I see you had the idea first. Well done :-)

Ahem. Our two fishing friends are sharp thanks to a little Photoshop tweaking (brought in from an earlier shot with a shorter exposure).
Thanks for your comments everyone. The border and title seem to be common dislikes. I add these to every pic I post here, mainly in an effort to create a consistent look to my work – a "brand" if you like. However I'm still weighing up the pros and cons, and perhaps will end up axing them.

My apologies in advance if this comment sounds perhaps a little negative, but this is rather poor Photoshop work. In the large version, the hard edges of the bird are very jarring against the background. A slight feathering of the selection/mask would make a huge difference to the realism of the shot. Also, the moon (sun?), showing through the clouds is massively blown out.
On the other hand, in the small version it appears as a very dramatic and well-lit shot, and the flaws are much less apparent.
Best Regards

I was experimenting here with slow shutter speeds and extreme camera movement.
Cropped and sharpened only. Please view large. Your comments appreciated.

I must agree with Brad: great Photoshop work, particularly in the masking of the hair and the dress where it falls in front of the horizon, and of course the tone matching.
Well done!

From a recent trip to Honduras. I'm trying to fine tune both my portrait
technique, as well as B&W conversions. Comments appreciated.
