This is more in focus than your other pic (I looked at your portfolio here). I like the expression, BW, and hair over the eyes. I think it might be a little to close, to tightly cropped, some might disagree though with me.

Michael thanks for your comments; I always like hearing others views and critiques. I did take a photo similar to what you suggested but I didn't post that one.

 

THis photo was more about the color for me... the warm leaves and the cold wintery icicles on the trees. Showing just "parts" as you mention was intentional, I was experimenting a bit here... but again thanks....

 

I looked at some of your pics.. I especially like "Reflections".

This is one of your best photos. I like the color as well as reflection.

I was taking a walk on a very cold day in Connecticut and when i saw the warm leaves and

icy trees, I was tempted to take this picture.

 

 

The color on this pic was altered incorrectly when I uploaded it to photo.net; I'm not sure

why. I left a message for photo.net tech support, but haven't found out why yet.

nice facial expression. and i like how the light shines left on the face and right on the cat. maybe just a little more light on the man's eye would be effective (slightly shifted right).
