In response to the last message, the wfpa list is not a forum like
this and is more an extension of the WFPA site for it's member, but I
do feel that if you have a LF question you may post it there to obtain
some possible answers.

Been following this thread and this site is quite different in
set-up that comparisons are hard to make. The WFPA site got a refined
touch in design and shows photo's and info and offers the same
possibilities as this site re questions and forums. Navigation is
"harder" which is something we might like to improve.
I feel both sites offer different things to different people, I will
have a cruise now on your (this) site and let you know what my
impressions are!

OK Guys, I get the drift, will put it forward to our community how we
can combine things, but do have a look at our site when you may think
you have a question, we have quite nice resources!
have a look at http://www.johndesq.com/ and let me know what you
think!

If you have any questions re large format, why not put them forward to the wfpamembers@onelist.com.
The community of the World Field Photographers Association, all large format users, should be able and ready to help.
You may contact me: Robert A f van de Voort at hotshot@ihug.co.nz as editor of the WFPA, I hope I can help.]Regards

I wish to convert Sinar P2 view camera into a pinhole camera, either for 4x5 or 8x10, any suggestions, something to fit in front of my copal shutter instead of the normal lens panel.

I have 4 strobe 5000 units and since I have them, there are no problems with my flash!
It pays to keep this material, some of my (second hand)strip lights are over 30 years old and do not fire on the lowest setting (1/4 power) but that is all.
Actually, anybody got spare waffles for the swimmingpool or striplights? In New Zealand we are a lttle far away to obtain spares but I do not foresee any problems with maintenance, it's solid state electronics are quite basic and very reliable.
Cheers
