I was looking at the 75-300 and a guy who I know recommended the 100-300mm. I bought mine on ebay for around $225. In looking at the online evaluations, it seemed to have much better ratings then the 75-300mm. Good luck

I was talking to a knowledgable digital photographer about taking photos and

he spoke with me about changing my camera setting from jpeg to raw. I wanted

to do this and found in the manual how. It is accomplished by entering the

menu on the LCD, moving the cursor down to "Quality" and choosing "RAW". This

menu option page shows Large/Fine at the top with various jpeg granularity

options down to Small/Normal followed by RAW. But on my camera, there is no

RAW available there. Am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated.

All the other jpeg options are there, but not RAW.
