I really like this shot, very beautiful. I love the saturated colors and the foreground/background contrast. I am still learning post production digitally and have had a problem with "artifacting" in attempting to push the colors of my photographs, they look fine under 1000 pixels, but at hi res, you can see the difference, if you may, what affects are you producing on the camera and what are you doing digitally to enhance color like this? Thanks for your reply, no worries if you don't.

I'm not crazy about the use of Photoshop in this image. Sorry if this comes across as harsh, I certainly only want to voice my opinion of this picture and in no way do I mean any bad intent.

Firstly, no camera has a dynamic exposure range like this to shoot into the sun and still catch detail of a Pelican passing through it. This kind of manipulation takes credibility away from the photo, away from the photograqpher and away from the process of photography. It's very damaging. I appreciate the composition, but my thoughts go to why don't you go to the beach at sunrise or sunset and capture the image without damaging your reputation as a photographer.

    Thank you.

Nice image, good location. I like the balance of sky and terrain, just enough. Nice crop and composition, the only thing I would have done differently is brighten it up just a tad more. Just feels dark. Nice work!

This was taken while on a 16,000 mile road trip across North America.

I stopped by a glacial lake in Montana to take this quick shot of

someone diving into the glistening waters. I loved the concept behind

this photo, pure refreshing fun. Go jump in a lake!

It's a remarkable image. I think the building on the right is a nice contrast to the rest of the picture. In the future, you might want to consider the rule of thirds in your composition and position the building a little more to the left in the image, about one-third in from the right, might make for a better composition. Great work!
