I love several things about this image:
1. The black and white gives it a classical effect while the graffiti keeps the modern feel
2. I agree with the previous poster about the shadows. You see none of her "goodies" but you can still see the important parts of her form - her lines, her shape, and her physique. Very nice and very tasteful!
3. The contrast between the beauty / softness of the model and the grittines / edginess of the location. (!)
Love this shot.

Would appreciate any comments / feedback. Thank you for viewing!

I like how the branches in the foreground seem to frame the rainbow, and the rainbow seems to frame the trees in the distance. Very nice effect.

Wonderful shot. I love the B&W conversion. The composition is great. Very inspiring! Thank you for this shot. I love it.

It looks good but I can barely see it (maybe you intended it to be this way). It feels like I am peeking through a hole in a wall, the way the frame is. I would love to see it twice as big as it is. I was looking for the "Larger" button. It looks very nice as is but I'd love to look closer (I think this is a sign of an intriguing photo!). The light looks interesing; is your subject the couple under the tree? Cheers!

I like the motion effect with the clouds but would like a little more foreground.

Lonely reeds, blowing in the warm summer sun near a sandy North

I was moved by your photo and your dedication. My fiancee recently lost her mother. Best wishes to you and your family.

Ironic title...when I first saw the pic thumbnail in the forum I thought it was ballet dancers on stage. Imagine my surprise when I clicked on it to find a picture of fire. Great imaginative capture.

National Portrait Gallery, Washington DC. We had a great time goofing
around with our cameras. When I saw this hallway I had to snap a few.

This is the old DC post office at about 7am. Critiques are greatly
appreciated. Thanks!

I feel cold just looking at this. Have you considered a cooler white balance? I would love to see this with a bluish tint.

I love it -- definitely conveys the idea of introspection to me. It looks as if the subject is pondering life in a beautiful location. I like the reflection of the dome in the river, the texture of the cobblestone, and the bridge on the left which leads the eye from the foreground to the background. I love it.

It would be nice if the left side of her face had a bit more light. Also, to me it looks as if the right side of her face has been retouched and the left has not. Otherwise I like the contrast in this shot and the light on the right side of her face is very nice, and I like it a lot.

In this case I think the bluish snow works - it does convey the early morning mood & light, as does the orange reflections in the water. I think if you did adjust the picture or your exposure to get the snow perfectly white that the image would be overexposed and you'd blow the highlights. I really like your image -- it makes you feel the cold. I would only recommend maybe some more of the background / less of the foreground and/or some creative cropping. Cheers!

I love it! It's so intricate I wish I could see it larger. It looks almost like a painting. Very autumny. Congrats on a great image.

I see what you mean; I hadn't thought of that. Thanks Marc!

I love the lines in this one.

Love the dark and spooky mood of the photo. I don't think it feels cold, but definitely eerie.
