Photographed in the Arctic of Alaska after several years of trying in this location. We

got only a 45 minute window of clear skies but we sure made the most of it.

I have photographed Portage many times and never come up with such a unique or impressive shot as this. I recognized it immediately but because this shot is the same I've always seen. Very inspiring body of work. Thanks for Sharing. I'd love to shoot with you sometime.

separate images. The moon was shot last year. The Stars are from a

night out shooting Northern Lights and the rest in in Studio a few

days before Halloween.

Beautiful Shot Matej. Perhaps a tad underexposed but I have a habit of doing that myself to saturate my colors a bit more.

Just curious what the temp is there? I am in Central Alaska and it is around -45 Degrees C.

I love the feel and color of this photo. My only suggestion is perhaps the use of a tripod to help sharpen in the future.

I didn't see the first post of this but I definitely agree that you need all the environmental elements to this photos to complete the shot. I also like that your horizon line is off center a bit and the dark tree trunk helps to lead the eye to the falls which in turn lead your eye back down to the focal point, the child. The only negative I see is that the railing is a little distracting at the top of the frame. You could try cloning it out. something like this. very nice though. Definitely an eye-catcher
