    NX2 conversion. I set the white ballance and black and white points on the color NEF, then converted to BW and brought the contrast and brightness down just a bit. Not sure if the "off the shelf" BW solution in NX2 is the best?

    It is nice to know that in todays world where every group, large, small and in between employs lawyers ready to sue at the smallest perceived offense, you can always count on making fun of the nazis, without any fear of repurcusion. Every one but the truely idiotic hates the nazis!

    I have taken several photos of this sculpture and I'm not sure I've ever

    gotten a really good one. It is difficult for me to capture how massive

    and strange it is. I liked the snow cap that looks like geometric clouds

    on its reflective top. Comments welcome

    this small part of town where a major levee breech happened,

    Good comment(s). I got focused on the airplane, filling the frame, looking for an interesting angle, etc. A few more feet to the left and I could have gotten both their faces, and plenty of jet if I had moved out, just a bit perhaps.
