Comments and thoughts appreciated, on the idea and on the technical
matters. I was looking for a different approach to shooting fireworks,
giving them a more comet-like appearance. This is a hand-held
five-second exposure, moving the camera in a gentle waving pattern.

I really like the pattern of the plant. A hint more saturation or contrast, particularly in the rocks, would have made it stand out a little more perhaps, and the piece of wood is somewhat distracting, but my eye keeps going back to the repeating abstract patterns of the plant (something you really accentuate on in your image titled "intricate.")

The near monochrome bleakness sets a somewhat unsettling tone - but I like that. There is something about flat gray days that can seem at one moment still and peaceful and the next tense and suspicious. I would perhaps as a comparison have liked to see it with less water and more sky - the ship feels rather hemmed in, and the angle of the bridge support feels tied down without more sky to aim for.

Any thoughts appreciated. I haven't adjusted color/exposure/etc in PS
yet, not sure if necessary. Was considering a B/W version. He swam up
to the glass and posed; swam away after the shot...

Comments and suggestions appreciated. This is another in a set of
attempts at shooting fireworks in a less direct manor by moving the
camera in patterns while shooting the image. While most presented a
more comet-like or phoenix-like appearance, this one looks more like
water plants to me. Appreciate thoughts on technique or
post-processing options as well.
