I grew up in New York and Lived in MA for 8 years (Upsate NY and N.E. have unmatched fall foliage and beautiful east coast mountain scenery, not to mention beautiful beaches), Lived in SoCal for 15 years (hated it, but lots of great mountain/coastal/desert scenery within a day's drive). I've lived in Western WA for 3 years now (been wanting to for many more than that) , and I think Kerry K. stated it best: your'e already in the best place!
