As the main hall of Grand Central Station is surprisingly dark it is difficult to photograph it without a tripod. One tip for photographing the main hall without a tripod is to place your camera on the balcony located halfway up the stairs located at either end of the hall. I noticed that Raghu had a photo of the main hall taken at probably the same location as one I took back in March.
