1.
step one: go to your local butcher shop and get a large slab of beef
step two: tie this to you pack and go for a hike threw the backcountry
step three: document everything so there will be a complete record when they find your camera.

But in all seriousness, its just luck, wolves are most active around dusk, apart form that try to set up close to food, water, or a game trail.

 2.
Somewhere other than phoenix, In all honesty its not a very photogenic city. the Papagos are kinda cool and if you climb north mountain early enough you can get cool sunrises over the city.

 3.
When I shoot with my view camera (calumet cc400 4x5) I always get "why do you shot with such and old and/or big camera" when I shot with my dslr (pentax k10d) I always get "why not canon/nikon". The most annoying question though is when you are showing pictures and people ask "wow, nice photos, you must have an expensive camera" that just pisses me off.

 4.
So I want to try to edit in stacks but cant seem to get it to work. my understanding is the the usual command is file, scripts, load into stack and then once your files load you go file, scripts, statistics, my problem is that there is not file, scripts, statistics for me. I'm using CS4 extended so I should have it. My layer, smart objects, stack mode is always grayed out too. (weather I convert the top file to a smart object, or all the files or select all and then convert to smart object, which flattens the layers). So Im wondering if there is some setting I have changed that would prevent me form using stacks? or if im just missing something, thanks

 5.
hello, I'm sorry if this has already been asked, i searched but couldn't find any thing. I'm looking for what the maximum number of lines pairs per millimeter the sensor can resolve is.
thanks
6.
my main concern is what is the business of photography like in Melbourne, is there a large market, what areas dose it center around, are there lots of galleries etc... stuff of that nature, I hadn't really considered differences in laws concerning photography yet, I'm mainly trying to figure out what this move would do to my business.

 7.
Hello, dose any one have any insights into the Photography scene in Melbourne, Australia. I might be moving there for a year so I was wondering what I would be getting into. I do Mainly fine art photography and some product as well.
thanks

 8.
So Pentax has in camera stabilization in most their DSLRs, right, stabilization that can compensates for X and Y movements, so whats to stop from a firmware upgrade that allows full color resolution by merging 4 shots where the sensor is moved one pixel each frame by the shake reduction, kinda like the hasselblad H3DII-50's multi-shot (info here ) dose. I honestly don't know if this would work, but i think its some thing that warrants some consideration by Pentax.

 9.
hello, i just installed pentax remote assistant 3 so that i could shoot with my K10D Tethered, my camera has firmware 1.30 so that souldnt be a problem but the software isn't recognizing the camera. the camera pops up in windows (the same as when you plug in any external memory) so its not a connection problem. dose any one have any ideas?
thanks

 10.
Hey I was wondering if any one could help me out with a question i have about Flash CS3. OK so here is the question: how do you get a SWF file to play in a single frame of the time line of a FLA file I am using the UI loader found in the components window to attach the SWF file but the SWF file is about 250 frames and i need to load in 6 SWF files of similar size so if i can get it play the entire SWF from a single frame in the FLA file that would be great. I dont really want to convert it to a movie clip if i can help it because i want the main page to load as fast a possible
thanks again
-Nathan Bladow

 11.
Hello, I am looking for suggestions, I have a 17-28mm smc-f that i am looking to replace, (to much barrel distortion and CA) with a couple of primes, Im thinking a 20mm and a 17 or 18mm K mount or m42 doesn't mater. I am using a K10D. I would like to keep it under $200, if I could.
thanks

 12.
Hello, im using a DTP92Q USB mesurment device with Profile Make 5, I get threw setting the contrast, brightness, and whit point. but then when it goes to acctually profile the monitor it gets threw the grey patches and then the primarys and then just stops and displayes a window saying "system error -87", has any one had any problems like this or know what this means.
thanks

 13.
I know that Pentax recently licensed a full frame sensor from samsung, but i haven't heard any rumors of a full frame SLR coming out. has any one heard any thing more about a full frame slr. I really hope they do, I could use the resolution.
thanks

 14.
I am wondering if any one knows of any good Photography Scholorships, ive been looking fastweb, google ect.. but figured it couldent hurt to ask. scholorships for film or large format would be awsome (smaller pool)
thanks

 15.
I am confused about something and am looking for some clarification. So fluorescent bulbs, HMI, and gaseous discharge lamps all emit a non- continuous spectrum, the only light sources that do emits a continuous spectrum are black body radiators and the sun, correct. Now that would mean that monolights like those by Paul C Buff Inc, Photogenic Ect… all emit a non- continuous spectrum, now its my understanding that breaks in the spectrum translate to colors being rendered visually incorrect. My understanding is that in principle a light that is missing part of the lower (redder) spectrum might render an orange object to look more yellow, if I’m incorrect here let me know because that makes my quandary simpler. Now here is where im confused I have never seen or heard of a time when colors from strobes are not the same as those produced in daylight, with the exception of a color temperature shift. Now im confused because what I have rationalized out doesn’t match with what seems to be the reality, is it because the gaps in non- continuous spectrums are so small they are not noticeable or is my color theory a little (or a lot) off here.
