I wanted to capture more than just a traditional portrait for her.

She loves golf so this was part of an outdoor shoot, most in golf

attire on the course. I thought this shot really caught her smile

though. Because it was outdoor and less controlled, the shot ended

up with a lot of hair blowing around (her hair is very fine and

gossamer-like). I'm curious if the fly-away hair detracts from the

shot? Thanks.

This was one of those chance shots that actually fully developed

after I got home. The rock striations had caught my eye and as the

sun was changing the colors shifted through amazing tonal hues. I

sort of knew the sailboat was there but didn't pay all that much

attention. After looking the shots it seemed that the boat ending

up "just so" lent an interesting sense to the whole shot.

Young man who asked me to assist him in testing the modeling waters.

Really a nice guy. We shot in a rundown section of Cleveland based

on the clothes he'd brought. The sun was very strong that morning

which lent itself to setting off some of his strong angular

features. I personally liked the sepia look in this shot.
