I just bought a Gitzo GT3540 its a very nice carbon fiber tripod but I have no

clue as to what head to purchase which is where you all come in. I want

something that is going to hold my d2x and a heavy lens very well. Also I

bought a gitzo GM3550 monopod I lost the bottom footpeg part of it and I don't

know where to replace it at. Its the screw and rubber foot piece that plugs

into the bottom leg piece. I am new to all this but thanks for the help

So i bought a D2x from a friend about a year ago for 1/10 of the going rate but

I have come to find out that its just to heavy for me. I like the high iso

ability and the high fps but its killing my neck and back what do I do should I

sell or tough it out and deal with it.

I have a nikon d2x and alot of gear I need a list of good Benro, Gitzo,

Bogen/manfrotto, set ups, tripods, monopods, heads. I know its alot but feel

free to teach cause I need the info thanx.

P.S. I'm a newb to tripods and heads. I need to pick one up for class. Not

just the best but the best value too but it has to be capable of handling That

big D2x and med- to large telo!

I am having trouble learning how to use my d2x I have been reading the manual

but thats like watching paint dry. IS there any books that would help me alot

more, also I am new to photography I need a good book or two on basic and

intermeadete photography
