    Great job!

I am currently running a thread on what better lens to purchase for macro. I already made my choice but I am truly amazed with this shot here.

    Bravo!

  1. Roger, this is what I have been longing to do for the longest time: perfect DOF!!! Perfect HDR technique!

Could you share with us how you used your camera/lens aperture, focus, etc ... ?

... if not a secret, of course!

  2. I saw this quiet scene just outside the small town where I live.

Although I have "seen" this farm countless of times, it is the first

    time I actually "see" it!

Ok, please comment on framing, composition, colours, etc ... anything

that will help me with this sort of photos.

I have used a Pentax DA 18-250mm with the K10D for this. Some very

mild sharpening and hue/saturating with Photoshop were also used.

The original photo was cropped to approximately 80%.

    Thank you.

  3. Josephine.

This photo represents what I am looking for in outdoors/landscape photography. This actually is much more than a landscape, "it is what it is", as the title suggests.

Great colours, superb perpective and grandiose mood and setting!

    Congratulations!
