    Two Trees

          3

This is a composite of a spring time Florida sky, a winter redbud, and a

blank white canvas to simulate snow. Your comments are always

    welcome and appreciated.

  1. On most of my composite works, I do not list equipment... sometimes it won't fit in the box provided. My composites can have as many as 10 different images from different cameras, with multiple lenses. Some digital... some film. In this particular image, there was only one camera used; Nikon D300. Two lenses were used; a Nikkor 18-200 VR zoom, and a Tokina 12-24 zoom. The tree image was shot in the winter, the cloud was a summer shot, while the water was shot in the fall. All with different settings. The moon, birds, and reflections were created in PhotoShop. Hope this answers your question...

Beautiful concept and wonderful PS work. I might like to see a motion blur applied to the reflection of the woman in the water. A lovely image!

A wonderful "story"! Very well thought out and processed. The choice of the dune sands really helps anchor the image with the strong lateral lines. Well done...

    Earth & Sky No.5

          4

This is number 5 in a series, but the subtitle is " The Western

    Economical Model".

This is a composite of images. The sky is from Tennessee. The rocks

were shot about 15 years ago on slide film from an area in Kansas

known as Monument Rock. The foreground is a winter farm in Kentucky

and the young lady is a flower girl from a wedding I shot in Florida.

The main bird is from Florida, while the remainder of the birds were

created in Photoshop. The lightning is also a Photoshop product.

Thanks for taking the time to view and comment.

  2. This composite image contains water images from Tennessee. The rock

and tree are also from Tennessee, while the window is from Spain and

the sky is from Italy. The "hole" in the water was created in

Photoshop as was the sun. Your comments and critiques are always

    welcome...
