<p>I was wondering if anyone would share their settings for the Canon 7D for shooting sports action? What do you have all the C.FN's set to? <br /><br />What should the settings be for Flash on the 7D? I have a 580EXII and at night outdoors if there is dust in the air I see the dust (Looks like snow) how do I get rid of that when shooting? Up my F stop? Tame down the 580EXII?</p>

<p>I have a 580EXII and was looking at the Quantum Trio. I do racing photography at local dirt tracks. My 580EXII works OK but I need something better or a good battery pack for the 580EXII. I have heard about the Quantum Turbo SC. Will the Quantum Trio give me more reach and better refresh or what should I do?</p>

<p>I have a 580EXII for 40D. I do a lot of night racing. I saw on TV some photographers doing racing photography with shoe mounted flashes that looked like the Norman flash type. Were these Norman flashes? What would anyone recommend I use that would be better and farther reaching than the Norman Flash? Is there anything but the Norman Flash that I should consider?</p>
<p>Thanks,<br>

<p>Can the 7D use the same batteries as the 40D and battery grip or do I have to buy all new?</p>

<p>How do I get the dust off the sensor. The spots are in the same place on all photos. Not horribly noticeable but there. All 3 same size clustered together.</p>

<p>Anyone know why I have 3 fixed spots on pics from my 40D. They show at top with any of the lens's I use. They are not dust spots like 3 black dots faded but 3 circles.</p>

<p>I would like to move the 40D to my backup. I need to send it to Canon for cleaning a look over. I do dirt track racing photography and it has been two years using and have not sent it in for cleaning. <br>
I would like a better flash. I have 580EXII but would like to get the flash that goes on top of camera that has the big flash with the silver cone around the flash. Do you know what that would be or what I am talking about. </p>

I have a 40D that I have about 20,000 clicks on the body. I think I would like to upgrade to 50D or 7D. I shoot racing
and the 50D is nice, so is the 7D. Anyone have any advice on what I should look at doing?
Thanks

<p>For my regular website I use frontpage, website is <a href="http://www.toddtorfin.com">www.toddtorfin.com</a> and have a gallery link to <a href="http://www.toddtorfin.zenfolio.com">www.toddtorfin.zenfolio.com</a> I would like to be able to just use one to put text and some design elements such as link buttons how would I go about doing that? Some of the post suggest getting a Wordpress account and attaching it to zenfolio. Can someone explain that process to me and how that works. Frontpage is not bad but I am currently struggling with making my own link text or link buttons. I have one I created for a link to the gallery using Corel Print Shop Pro. Any suggestions on what I should do?</p>

<p>Puppy Face, can you hook up a projector to the iMac? What version of Photoshop do you have for Mac? Is your Dreamweaver a Mac version?</p>

<p>I am curious what software do I need if I want to design my website. I have a website right now that I have through 1and1. I use Frontpage 2003 to maintain the website. <br>
Those of you that have a website using a MacBook Pro who do you use to host your website and what web design software do I need to to move my website from 1and1 using Microsoft Frontpage. If anyone has suggestions on what web hosting service and software please let me know.<br>
Also do those that use a Mac just use Photoshop for a Mac to do Photoshop designs or is there something that Apple has that can do layering and some of the things Photoshop can do.<br>
I am going to buy a Mac so just curious do you guys recommend a MacBook Pro or just the Mac with a 20 or 24 inch screen? Are the Mac's that just have the screen can a projector be hooked up to them for presentations? Also I have a wireless router is it compatiable with a Mac?</p>

I would like to send in my 40D to Canon for a thorough cleaning and check up. Does anyone know what the number
at Canon is to set this up to send my camera in for a tune-up and about how much it might cost. Also would they fit
it for camera body armor? I would also like to have my Canon 70-200 2.8 lens calibrated, does anyone know how
much that costs and about how long all of this would take?

I have had another 40D I bought last September when the 40D first came out and have been using the thing to death and great images www.toddtorfin and taken tons of pictures without one issue. I bought another 40D as a backup and now the QCD is not working. Did they produce a bad batch here somewhere along the way.

I have it in the on postion #3. I have had the camer since July 18 so not even 30 days. Bought if from B&H. I need this camera for a shoot. Should I sent it back to B&H or to Canon. How long is the warranty with Canon 1 year?

I was taking some pictures tonight and my quick control dial on the back of my 40D was working just great. I shut
the camera off for a bit. Came back turned it on and wanted to show some folks the pictures on the memory card
and the first pictures comes up fine but when I try to scroll to the next picture the quick control dial turns but it does
not advance to the next picture. I tried a different memory card and same thing. I powered off back on, switched
batteries and same problem. I went to the menu, cleared all my camera settings plus custom functions and still the
Quick Control Dial on the back of my 40D will not work. Does anyone have any suggestions why it would work and
then all of sudden it quits. I can turn the dial itself and it turns just fine but will not advance anything. Please help.

Does anyone have some good settings for the custom functions that they use and are willing to share?
-
Maybe you could tell me what all my custom settings should be.

I have two 40D's one I bought last September and takes great pics. I just bought another one as a second camera
and I have not been able to get pics to turn out very well. Everything is too dark. I take the same picture with the
same lens on my old 40d and then put the lens on my new 40D and the pic from the new 40D is way dark. Pic take
from the same spot with the same lighting. Has anyone experienced this and what do I do to fix this. I am going to
call B&H and return it for a different one because I think I got a lemon.
Thanks,
Todd

I am shooting racing at night using a 580EX II. What mode is it best to shoot in ETTL, M, Multi? I also want a quick
refresh rate is there a setting better for that. What settings should I use in the 40D? I do have an external battery
pack for the 580 so that does help with refresh rate. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Todd

I have a website that I upload photos to using FrontPage. It takes me a while to batch resize photos using
Photoshop Elements 5.0. I then have to create the pages/links in my website, then upload photos. It takes a while
to say upload 500 photos. I am curious what do other folks use to show their photos. I do not sell my photos but
want to know what other people use to batch resize their photos and what application out there is the best photo
gallery hosting.

Does anyone have custom function setups they would be willing to share for a Canon 1D Mark III. Whatever you
have for the custom functions would be great. Also custom setups for 580EX II what do you use most for mode
settings etc...
