<p>Shun, the piece is under the front glass. People tell me I am full of hot air, but I don't think I have that much to penetrate glass.</p>

<p>Just received a new Sigma 17-50 2.8 OS today for my D7000 and noticed a plasticky, threadlike substance in the front element near the side after a few shots. I have never seen this in a new lens. Anyone else?</strong><br>

I am really liking my new D7000 and 70-300 VR combo. This shot is of my god daughter playing tee ball in hot South Texas.</p><div></div>

<p>I use a Tamron 28-75 2.8 (non-BIM) for 90-95% of my wedding work starting with a D80 and now a D7000. Skin tones and colors are right on with that lens and most of my weddings are on the beach. I have thought of going with the 17-50 Tammy, but after reviewing the focal length found that most of my shots with in the 30-50mm range.</p>

<p>Picked up a new D7000 this week and trying out the low light capability. Shot this one with the 18-105mm kit lens that came with it.<br>

<p>I just picked up a D7000 with 18-105 kit lens at a one day $250 discount from Best Buy. I took a few shots with the 18-105 and was impressed, but will not keep the lens as I was just looking for the camera. Here's a sample of the 18-105 shot at 105mm, 5.6, 1/60, built-in flash.</p><div></div>

<p>I picked up my first macro lens this week, a Nikon AI 55mm 3.5 after seeing many interesting shots from this thread. The following shot was something I found in the backyard yesterday. Nice shots everyone.<br /></p>
