I Carried my Slingshot 300 to Disney World this May. I flew American and it easily went under the seat. I also had no problems carring it around Disney World and getting on rides. I could easily access my equipment. It's a great bag. It might not be as comfortable as a regular backpack on long hikes though.

Tighten the knob right below the head and give it a good twist counter clockwise and continue to unscrew it. Replace it with your new head screwing it on clockwise.

I Just used my Slingshot 300 for six days at Disney World. It carried a 40D mounted with a 70-200 F/4L reversed hood, 10D mounted with a 18-50 hood attached, a Canon A620 and a few filters. I had no problem accessing either camera . Weight was no issue. I have several back packs both Lowe Pro and Tamrac. The Slingshot beats both hands down.

I use an Induro MC-24 Monopod with a Really Right Stuff Monopod Solution Head (Manfrotto #3232 Swivel and B2-Pro Clamp). It's been a great combination for me especially if you use an L-Bracket on you camera.

Your description of the "L" designation is not correct. You need to look at the L Plates fromm RRS, Kirk or any of the other manufactures of L Plates.

I upgraded. No problem with Epson R1800

I get the same thing with CS3-Epson R1800-Vista Home Premium. I also let Photoshop manage color. My printed pics are fine also. The only difference is I save my copies as PSD. I haven't found a fix. I never had this in CS2 but I was using Windows XP.

Don't get frustrated. Any new beginner to photoshop should stay from Deke McClelland. I tried his One on One for CS2 and didn't care for it. I then purchased Scott Kelby's "the Adobe Photoshop CS2 book for Digital photographers". I have all his books from Elements 2 thru CS3. They are very straitforward and easy to follow. After you learn the basics from Kelby's book try "Adobe Photoshop CS3 Classroom In A Book" From Adobe's website. It will take you through what you want to do.

I have it and never had a problem getting it aboard as a carry on.

I put 2 Weincell 625 1.35 volt batteries from Wolf Camera in mine and it works just fine. I checked it against my Sekonic L758 off a grey card and got the same readout. Maybe you have a bad set of batteries.

Bite the bullit and upgrade to CS3. If you shoot a lot of Raw files DNG takes forever to convert. I don't much care for DPP. I Just upgraded to CS3 finding a fantastic deal at Comp USA for 119.00 going out of business sale.

I have a Heliopan KR 1,5 SH-pmc Skylight on my Canon 70-200L. I prefer it to a UV for the light warming effect.

RRS or Kirk. Anyone using either bracket on their 40D yet. I have a Kirk on my
10D and it's a fine bracket. No experience with the RRS L-Bracket.
